I have taught writing to students at all levels. I have found that my strongest voice emerges in poetry and song lyrics, but I have a novel nipping at my heels. I would like to invite you to join me by continue scribbling poems into notebooks, scrawling lyrics on napkins,  and crafting experiences into plays, short stories, and novels. I would like to dare you to tell your beautiful, terrible story, which is as mine, laced with grief, sorrow, shame and tears, as well as hope, courage, happiness, and good. I am a work in progress and venturing into deeper waters than I have ever done.
